Gardening

I have recently become VERY interested in growing my own food. It's so much fun to go out in the back yard and pick things for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Here the girls are out with Pop Pop in his garden seeing what they can find for breakfast. He's got a little of everything in there







Here's what they found: Peppers and basil to go
with bacon, eggs, toast, and grits! YUM!









Here is another picture of dinner: Southern fried cubed steak, mashed potatoes and from the garden-collard greens, and tomato cucumber salad!


...as intrigued as I am to start my own garden, I am still leery enough of snakes and spiders that I think I will start out with a nice sized container garden!
