Today is our 11 year anniversary! I can't believe it! It seems like it was just yesterday that my dad was walking me down the aisle in the middle of what felt like a hurricane. Literally the wind and the rain was SO not like November in NY.
They say it is good luck to have it rain on your wedding day, so I took it and ran!
These past 11 years have FLOWN by! So much has happened, yet it still feels like it was just yesterday. There are things that have happened in in our marriage that I would never wish on anyone. Things that people still ask me, "How did you get through it?" I can honestly say that if God did not give me the husband that he did, I honestly don't know...
And to put up with me??? THAT IS NO EASY TASK! It takes a special man to deal with someone who is always dreaming, and who pushes to make things happen. Sometimes the dreams are just that. Sometimes the things I try to make happen are not the best things. Sometimes always having a new idea is not a good thing...BUT...he has ALWAYS BEEN THERE!! And for that I say to the world, "I love this man I married! Thank you Don, for loving me even when I'm acting crazy...Thank you Don for loving me even when you need to step in and tell me to come down out of the clouds...Thank you for loving me when you stand behind me in my endeavors...thank you for the demonstration of Christ's unconditional love that you have given to me every day since the day we said, "I DO".
I look forward to the adventures that are ahead because I know that together we are AMAZING!!!
