Today was Truman’s “End of Year” pizza party at school. I, along with Olivia, Jaidyn, and Mackenzie participated in the festivities. We played outdoor games (including a water balloon fight), had pizza, chips and cupcakes, there was also an “in class” awards ceremony. Tru received three awards today: Most Improved Student, Excellent Behavior, and Super Student Award. As I watched him walk to the front of the classroom I remembered back to the first days of the year. He seemed so small and shy then. I hated watching him go into that big school all alone. Now when I drop him off, he always jumps out of the car and runs right in. He is always eager to learn, and I am so proud of his accomplishments.
